Healthcare innovation doesn't happen in isolation. HealthTech diplomacy develops when nations leverage each other's strengths to address challenges, recogniזing how technologies could improve patient care and make health systems work better. This was exactly what we witnessed during our recent Israeli healthtech delegation to the UK, as a part of the Dangoor HealthTech academy.
"The UK-Israel partnership in healthcare is delivering benefits for both nations. Through cooperating with the UK Israel Tech Hub, we are creating opportunities for joint innovation that will transform patient care in the UK", said the Minister for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer.
The delegation, led by Ronit A., healthcare innovation lead at the UK-Israel Tech Hub, showed the interest and excitement within the UK healthcare ecosystem to learn and connect with Israeli startups: Kai.ai | Seegnal | anydish | Shela | Thrive - Empowering Parents of Children with Eating Disorders| Treat Me LTD | SensoMedical USA

From visiting Imperial College London, to NHS hospitals, innovation hubs, trusts and other private UK healthcare companies, the startups learned about the necessities, strengths, and weaknesses of the UK healthcare ecosystem. Moreover, they discovered current and future opportunities for collaboration.
The academy underlined the UK Government's ambition to deliver an NHS fit for the future and brings cutting-edge medical solutions to improve patient care in Britain and drive economic growth, delivering on the UK government's Plan for Change.
